Samsung Electronics’ latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, topped a recent evaluation conducted by the US Consumer Reports. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, which was released in January 2024, scored a total of 87 points, outperforming the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which scored 86 points, by a one-point difference to secure the coveted position at the top of the list.

According to industry sources on Wednesday, the Galaxy S24 Ultra was evaluated across ten categories, including reliability, satisfaction, camera performance, display quality, durability, and overall performance. The device received the highest possible rating of ‘Excellent’ in almost all these categories.

In addition to the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s success, the Galaxy S24+, with a score of 85 points, came in at third place on the list. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, released in 2023, scored 84 points for a joint fourth-place finish. With the evaluations completed, Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones occupied three out of the top five positions in the Consumer Reports rankings.

The Consumer Reports assessment emphasized the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s standout features, including a brighter display, advanced processor and camera capabilities, extended battery life, and the innovative Galaxy AI, including the Real-time Translation, Circle to Search, and AI Editing features. Consumer Reports praised the practicality and significant impact of Galaxy AI features, describing them as both impressive and user-friendly.

Samsung hit a new milestone by selling a million devices in the Galaxy S24 series within just 28 days after the series’ release. The latest series is currently the fastest selling of all the company’s Galaxy S series.
