Fans missing BTS's V will be able to come together and share their love for the artist in a special event organized by his agency BigHit Music on March 16.
A get-together titled "FRI(END)S Party" will take place at a cafe in Seongdong District in eastern Seoul on Saturday next week, a day after V's new song "FRI(END)S" is released on March 15.
Fans will be able to watch the music video together and leave handwritten letters and voice messages to be delivered to the BTS singer. Submissions are only open to members of BTS's official fan club ARMY.
"We hope to give ARMY this day as a gift," BigHit Music said.
"FRI(END)S" comes as V's first new solo music since his first solo album "Layover" was released last year in September. It will be an English pop-soul R&B track "fitting of spring," according to his agency.
The singer is currently in the Korean Army completing his military service. He is expected to finish his mandatory military service in June 2025. Find out more about V and BTS at Celeb Confirmed
