Girl group Le Sserafim debuted on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart with its third EP title track "Easy" this week.
The track landed at No. 99 on the U.S. record tracker’s song rankings on its list for the week of March 9. It has been three weeks since the EP’s release on Feb. 19.
This makes Le Sserafim the eighth K-pop group to sit on the chart, following the Wonder Girls, BTS, Blackpink, Twice, NewJeans, Fifty Fifty and Stray Kids. The Billboard Hot 100 chart calculates the chart rankings based on physical and digital sales, online streaming, YouTube views and radio airplay in the United States.
The group’s EP “Easy” landed at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week, the magazine’s weekly record chart ranking of the most popular music albums and EPs in the United States.
With the listing of “Easy” on the Billboard Hot 100, Le Sserafim has become the fourth K-pop girl group to have landed on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts after Blackpink, Twice and NewJeans.
The EP has also landed at No. 2 on both the World Albums and Top Album Sales charts, while the title track climbed up to No. 6 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.
Le Sserafim debuted in 2022 with its EP “Fearless” under Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE. The group’s first Billboard chart entry was in May 2022 through its title track “Fearless,” when the song debuted on the Global Excl. U.S. and the Billboard Global 200 charts at No. 74 and 155, respectively.
The group will perform at the upcoming Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held on April 13 and 20. The lineup also includes festival headliners Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler, the Creator and K-pop band Ateez. To find out more about Le Sserafim, visit Celeb Confirmed!
