Hyundai to sell concrete pump trucks in North America

Hyundai Everdigm, a Seoul-based heavy equipment manufacturer affiliated with the Hyundai Department Store Group, recently secured a dealership contract with Manitowoc Company, Inc., an American manufacturer of cranes. For Hyundai Everdigm, the agreement will see the company export large concrete pump trucks to North America and pave the way for future expansion into global markets, particularly in Asia.

According to a statement by Hyundai Everdigm on Monday, it signed a dealership agreement with Manitowoc Company for concrete pump trucks in North America. Manitowoc Company, founded in 1902, is renowned for its heavy equipment, including large cranes used in construction, shipping, and other industries. With annual sales of 2.2 trillion won ($1.6 billion) and approximately half of its revenue generated from North America, the U.S. partner has a formidable presence and reputation in the market, the statement said.
