The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres have already got the full Korean treatment ahead of the MLB Seoul Series next month, with Korean licensee F&F starting presales of Korean-language ball caps for both teams.
Korean versions of the Dodgers and Padres caps are available for preorder on the MLB Korea shop website. The logos on both caps are written in Korean hangul characters, but clearly draw inspiration from the original logos of both clubs.
Also available for preorder are Seoul Series caps with the initial logos of both the Dodgers and Padres in navy and grey.
All four caps — Dodgers, Padres and two dual logo caps — have an “MLB World Tour Seoul Series” logo on the side. It’s not clear whether that logo will also be worn by the players during the two games.
The store also sells a variety of Dodgers and Padres merchandise.
Both the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres will face the Korean national team ahead of the Seoul Series in March, with the Dodgers also facing the KBO’s Kiwoom Heroes and the Padres taking on the reigning KBO champion LG Twins.
The official MLB Seoul Series will then begin on March 20, with both Game 1 and Game 2 on March 21 scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m.
