'A Killer Paradox' slays it on Netflix charts

Netflix series “A Killer Paradox” topped the streaming platform’s weekly Top 10 chart for non-English shows on Wednesday.
According to Netflix, the crime thriller logged in 5.5 million views from Feb. 11 to 18.
It also debuted on 43 top 10 regional charts for television, including Korea, Canada, France, Hong Kong, and Australia.
“A Killer Paradox” surrounds the main character Lee Tang, played by Choi Woo-shik, an ordinary college student who accidentally kills a stranger only to find out that person was a serial killer. He discovers that he has the uncanny ability to pick out evil people to murder and ponders continuing to commit these homicides while a detective named Jang Nan-gam, played by Son Suk-ku, chases Tang down.
It was released on Netflix on Feb. 9.
The original webtoon of the same name received multiple awards, including the Korea Content Award given out by the Korea Creative Content Agency and a yearly award hosted by the Korea Manhwa Contents Agency. Director Lee directed the film “The Vanished” (2018) and the drama “Hell Is Other People” (2019).
