Wendy of girl group Red Velvet is coming back as a solo artist for the first time in almost three years with her second EP "Wish You Hell" on March 12.
This will be Wendy’s first release as a solo artist in over two years and 11 months since her first EP “Like Water” dropped in April, 2021.
“Wish You Hell” will consist of a total of six tracks including its title track, according to her agency SM Entertainment.
The promotional image for the EP, which shows a black board with a heart drawn onto a coordinate plane and a sign that reads “BE YOU,” was uploaded to Red Velvet’s social media pages on Monday.
Wendy debuted with group Red Velvet as its main vocalist in August, 2014 with the single “Happiness.” The group has since put out hits including “Ice Cream Cake” (2015), “Russian Roulette” (2016), “Red Flavor” (2017) and “Psycho” (2019).
Red Velvet will return with new music in the second quarter of 2024, according to SM Entertainment.
