Riize was the winner of Favorite’s second weekly chart of February.
Favorite is a K-pop fan voting service co-developed by Bugs and the JoongAng Ilbo, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily.
Weekly chart rankings are calculated by a combination of fan votes and an artist’s number of streams on Bugs.
SM’s rookie boy band, Riize, received a score of 37.6 percent, accounting for a total of 1,833 votes and 2 percent of Bugs streaming data.
Girl group IVE and singer-songwriter IU landed in second and third place, respectively.
IVE received a total score of 18.2 percent, accounting for a total of 781 votes and 3 percent of Bugs streaming data, while IU saw a total score of 17.1 percent, accounting for a total of 718 votes and 3.2 percent of Bugs streaming data.
Celebratory videos of Riize and IVE will play at the Parnas Media Tower from Saturday to Feb. 23. The Parnas Media Tower is located near COEX Mall in Gangnam District, southern Seoul.
Blackpink’s Lisa took the crown for Favorite’s March birthday vote, with 199,332 votes, accounting for 44.3 percent of the total. Lisa’s birthday celebratory advertisement will be placed on a 9004 route bus that connects Seongnam, Gyeonggi and Gangnam District, southern Seoul, from March 1 to March 31.
