The mimosa tree, also called silver wattle or blue wattle (Acacia dealbata) blooms from December to March. Mimosa flowers are used as cut flowers by florists or in perfume industry and the timber can be used for craft furniture. In Tanneron, mimosa is cultivated for florists and for export.
