Poland Parliament security bars former MPs from entering the parliament

Parliamentary security guards have stopped two ex MPs, who were found guilty of abuse of power in December 2023 and later pardoned by the President Duda, from entering the Sejm, the lower house of the Polish parliament on 07 February morning. They tried to enter the parliament along with colleagues from the main opposition party Law and Justice. The Polish house speaker's press officer had said on 06 February that the two MPs Kaminski and Wasik are allowed to visit the Sejm, but not to take part in parliamentary sessions.
