Starfield Suwon attracts 840,000 visitors in 10 days

Starfield Suwon, a newly opened shopping complex by Shinsegae Property Inc., has drawn 840,000 visitors in just ten days since its opening on January 26, the company said on Wednesday.

Starfield Suwon, located in Jeongja-dong, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, is the largest shopping complex in the region. It is the first complex dedicated to Starfield 2.0 specialized for young consumers.

In addition to fashion stores and restaurants, the shopping mall has Starfield Library, an open public library with diverse books.

Starfield Suwon has also contributed to the local economy.

More than 3,000 jobs have been created in the city and its surrounding neighborhoods, and local stores near the shopping complex have seen sales grow with the influx of visitors.

Shinsegae Property said the sales of fifty food and beverage stores within 150 meters of Starfield Suwon have grown up to fourfold since the opening.
