Demonstration against French immigration bill and in solidarity with Palestinian people

The new immigration law that hardens France's migration policy was voted in by the Parliament on 19 December 2023. The 25 January 2024 the Constitutional Council rejected large parts of the bill. French President Macron promulgated this law on January 26. On February 01, centrist senators tabled a text in an attempt to take up the numerous measures censured by the Constitutional Council. Thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have been killed since the militant group Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on Israel from the Gaza Strip on 07 October 2023, and the Israeli strikes on the Palestinian enclave which followed it.
