American actor Timothee Chalamet will visit South Korea ahead of the release of "Dune: Part Two" later this month, according to a local news outlet on Friday.
Chalamet will be visiting Korea during the week leading up to the release of the film, according to the media outlet. In Korea, "Dune: Part Two" is to be released on Feb. 28.
The detailed schedule of the visit, including dates and the lineup of actors participating in the visit, are currently being coordinated, the news outlet said.
Chalamet's upcoming visit marks a return to Korea after a five-year gap since attending the Busan International Film Festival in 2019, when he was promoting "The King." During the release of "Dune" in 2021, the actor was unable to hold on-site events in Korea due to the spread of COVID-19.
"Dune," released in 2021, is the cinematic interpretation of Frank Herbert's acclaimed novel of the same name.
The movie follows the story of Paul Atreides (Chalamet), a young aristocrat who rises to lead an army in a struggle for control over the planet's valuable resource, referred to as Spice.
