SK chemicals eyes U.S. medical packaging market with recycling solutions

SK chemicals Co. is aiming to make an impact on the medical packaging market by unveiling chemical recycling solutions at a premier medical device exhibition in the United States.

The company announced on Thursday its participation in the Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) exhibition, scheduled to take place from February 6 to 8 in Anaheim, the U.S.

MD&M is renowned for showcasing innovative technologies and products related to the design and manufacturing of medical devices. The event serves as a platform for medical industry experts and manufacturers to exchange information on the latest technologies, trends, products, and services.

At the exhibition, SK chemicals plans to showcase not only its widely applied copolyester used in facial protection shields and medical equipment storage containers but also introduce materials incorporating chemical recycling technologies such as SKYPET® CR and ECOTRIA® CR.
