Boy band WEi will drop its second Japanese EP “WAVE” and hold two concerts in Japan in February, the band’s agency Oui Entertainment said Friday.
“WAVE” will drop on Feb. 14.
WEi released its first Japanese EP, “Youth,” on Aug. 11, 2022.
"WAVE" will showcase a "masculine" side of the band, unlike its previous tracks in Japanese, its agency said in a press release.
WEi will hold two concerts, titled “The Wave,” in Japan after dropping the EP.
The first concert will take place on Feb. 17 in Osaka followed by Saitama on Feb. 25.
Group member Yohan will not participate in promoting the EP due to conflicts with his filming schedule, according to the band's agency.
WEi debuted in October 2020 with its first EP “Identity : First Sight” under Oui Entertainment. It consists of six members: Daehyeon, Donghan, Yongha, Yohan, Seokhwa and Junseo.
Seokhwa is currently competing in Mnet’s boy band audition show “Build Up.”
