Both the governing People Power Party and majority Democratic Party are busy presenting sweet promises to attract votes from Generation MZ with less than 70 days left before the April 10 parliamentary elections. However, according to recent research, if the current low birth rate and a rapid aging of our society continue, members of the generation must pay 40 percent of their lifetime earnings as tax to support a shaky society.
