Boy band Ateez unveiled its Aniteez characters on its social media on Wednesday, each with their own name and personality, even down to information such as their favorite color and what they value the most.
Ateez members actively participated in the characters’ development, with each character mirroring a member of the band, according to the band's agency KQ Entertainment.
Parts of the characters’ faces were previously revealed during the band’s Seoul concert on Saturday, following a sneak-peak video of the characters, titled “ANYone know ATEEZ?” uploaded on the band’s official YouTube channel on Sunday.
Ateez debuted in 2018 under KQ Entertainment. It has eight members: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho.
It's known for songs such as "Wave" (2019), "Answer" (2020), "Guerrilla" (2022) and "Bouncy (K-Hot Chilli Peppers)." Its latest album, "The World Ep Fin: Will," released on Dec. 1, was the band's first full-length album in four years.
The band recently held its Seoul concerts on Jan. 27 and 28 as part of its world tour “Towards The Light : Will To Power.” Its next world tour concert will be held at the Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, on Saturday and Sunday.
