IU & Park Bogum, Netflix to Stream South Korean Drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines"

(MHNsports Reporter Hyeonha Jeong) The drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines" will be released globally on Netflix.

Netflix announced on January 30 that the upcoming South Korean drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines" will be released globally on the streaming service.

The drama, starring IU, Park Bogum, Moon Sori, and Park Haejun, tells the story of two people born in Jeju Island in the 1950s. The drama will follow their adventurous lives throughout the four seasons. 

IU will play the role of Aaesoon in her youth, while Park Bogum will play the role of Gwansik. Moon Sori and Park Haejun will play the roles of Aaesoon and Gwansik in their later years.

The drama is directed by Kim Wonseok, who is known for his work on the dramas "Misaeng," "Signal," and "My Mister." The screenplay is written by Im Sangchun, who wrote the drama "When the Camellia Blooms."

Netflix has not yet announced a release date for "When Life Gives You Tangerines."
