Samsung gears up for Galaxy S24’s worldwide release

Samsung Electronics Co. is gearing up for the worldwide release of its latest smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S24, on January 31st, 2024.

The manufacturer announced the global availability of the new Galaxy S24 series on Tuesday, for which pre-orders have been pouring in thanks to its innovative Galaxy AI capabilities.

The new Samsung Galaxy S24 series saw an astonishing increase in pre-order sales compared to its predecessor, with more than 65 percent of consumers opting for the most premium Galaxy S24 Ultra. As many as 1.21 million units were sold in just a week in South Korea, a record high for any Galaxy series.

The Galaxy Series comes with a 50 percent discount on the SmartThings Station and 100,000 won ($75.20) off the Watch 6, in addition to a bundle of deals on accessories. The discount deals continue until February 29th, 2024.

The manufacturer also launched an upcycling program that gives users a reimbursement of up to 150,000 won per device when they return their old Galaxy smartphones.
