Blitzers member Go_U leaves boy band for personal health reasons

K-pop boy band Blitzers’ member Go_U left the band due to personal health issues on Monday, its agency Wuzo Entertainment said the same day.
“The agency has discussed with Go_U his future group activities and his career during his recovery,” the agency said in a press release. “After careful discussions, the member has decided to leave the band and focus on recovering his health for the time being.”
Go_U stopped all activities back in April 2023 due to personal health issues.
Blitzers will continue its activities as a six-member boy band as of Monday.
“We are sorry to deliver such news out of the blue to the fans who have loved and supported the band,” the agency added. "We ask for your warm support for Go_U in his recovery, even though he has left the band.
Blitzers debuted in 2021 with the EP “Check-In” under Wuzo Entertainment. The remaining six members are Juhna, Jinhwa, Sya, Chris, Lutan and Wooju. The band's latest single “Macarena” was released on April 24, 2023.
