LG Display Co. is committed to seeking collaborative growth with its partners, according to its Chief Executive Officer Jeong Cheol-dong, on Thursday.

“In the middle of the transformative trend of OLED dominance expanding beyond TVs and smartphones to information technology and automobiles, our partners must become One Team with us,” Jeong said, during the 2024 Collaborative Growth New Year Gathering held last week at LG Display’s site in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.

Jeong and other executives were joined by CEOs from over 80 partner companies for the event.

LG Display celebrated the successful transition to profitability after seven consecutive quarters of losses amid the growing prominence of OLED applications.

During the gathering, LG Display outlined key focus areas for the coming years, including strengthening innovation leadership for future technology readiness, revolutionary cost structure reform, establishing a stable supply chain, and enhancing collaborative growth to elevate the competitiveness of partner companies.
