Musical theater star Kai is slated to meet fans in Asia, Europe and the United States through the "Kai Into The World" tour, which begins in April, according to his agency EMK Entertainment on Thursday.
Kai's tour schedule is set to stop at Manhattan's Carnegie Hall, where the actor has long dreamed of performing.
"I've always wanted to sing at Carnegie Hall, and then I came up with the idea of going on a world tour, and here we are now," Kai said through EMK's press release. "I want to walk the path that anyone can go but that no one has gone. [Through this tour] I strive to show who I am today."
Kai, 42, is in his 16th year as a musical performer. He is currently starring as Inspector Javert in the ongoing licensed production of "Les Miserables," running at the Blue Square in Yongsan District, central Seoul.
Tickets to the April Japan leg of the "Kai Into The World" tour are set to open on Jan. 31, through Ticketpia and Melon Ticket.
