epa11101065 A Royal Mail parcel box in London in Britain, 24 January 2024. A report from regulator Ofcom has announced Royal Mail could reduce the number of days it delivers post from the current six to five or three under proposals for reform. The UK government does not support the reforms calling the Saturday service 'sacrosanct'. The Royal Mail currently has an obligation for a six day service for letters, five day service for parcels and two single price delivery speeds (first class and second class). EPA/NEIL HALL
