Samsung Display will expand its Display Track program from three universities to eight universities in 2024, getting a head start in securing talent.

The expanded talent development initiative for future recruitment involves agreements with five additional partner universities, starting with Yonsei University on January 22nd, 2024, and concluding at Sogang University on February 6th, the company said on Tuesday.

The Display Track program operates by offering display-related education courses at each university, selecting outstanding talents, and providing them with scholarships.

The program also guarantees employment after graduation. The program was initially launched in 2019 at Seoul National University and POSTECH, and it expanded to KAIST in 2022. In 2024, agreements are set to be signed for cooperation with Korea University, Sogang University, Sungkyunkwan University, Yonsei University, and Hanyang University.
