LG CNS launches integrated AI Center

LG CNS Co. has established an AI Center aimed at advancing generative artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for enterprise solutions.

The center, unveiled last week during the LG CNS AI DAY ceremony, consolidates AI-related functions, including technical research, business exploration, and execution, to drive innovative AI services, the company said Sunday.

The AI Center comprises specialized units such as a generative AI business unit, tasked with focused exploration in generative AI businesses, an AI business division handling distinctive AI projects, and four AI labs specializing in language, vision, data, and engineering.

Heading the AI Center is Jin Yohan, executive at the company’s D&A Business and an AI data expert who joined LG CNS in November last year. He had previously worked with mobile advertising platform company Tapjoy, SK telecom, and Emart.

LG CNS has identified six generative AI offerings - answers based on internal knowledge, visual content generation, job support and automation, future customer center, generative business intelligence, and AI coding - and is set to provide digital transformation in various industries, including finance, manufacturing, and distribution.

The company is actively collaborating with Microsoft, Google, and Anthropic to enhance its AI capabilities. LG CNS has also established an AI solutions lineup, including DAP GenAI, aimed at supporting AI service development.
