The ongoing tvN drama “Marry My Husband” entered Amazon Prime Video’s top 10 TV shows in the United States on Tuesday, according to streaming data provider FlixPatrol.
The series is the first Korean drama to enter the chart and sits at No. 9 as of Tuesday, its broadcaster tvN said in a press release Wednesday.
“Marry My Husband” also sat at No. 2 on Amazon Prime Video’s Top TV Show worldwide for seven consecutive days.
The series broke its own viewership record, reaching an all-time high as of Tuesday with 9.5 percent, also landing at No. 1 for shows airing in its timeslot. The show also peaked at 10.5 percent viewership ratings for the greater Seoul region, the broadcaster said.
“Marry My Husband,” starring actors Park Min-young and Na In-woo, is a time-travel romance drama, based on the 2020 Naver web novel, which was later adapted on Naver Webtoon the following year under the same title. The series centers around Kang Ji-won, played by Park, who travels back in time after being murdered for witnessing her husband’s affair with her best friend.
The TV series first aired on Jan. 1 on cable network tvN and is available on local streaming platform Tving and Amazon Prime Video.
