Sanctioned Liberian Senators elected to government posts

Senator Albert Chie is the outgoing president Pro tempore of the Liberian Senate. He is one of the overwhelmingly elected senators in the 10 October 2023 presidential and general election, despite being sanctioned by the US government. Other sanctioned officials include Monrovia City Mayor, Senator Emmanuel Nuquay, Senator Nathaniel Fallo Mcgill, Senator Bill Tweahway, Finance Development & Planning Samuel Tweah, former solicitor general Cerenius Cephus and Senator Vaney Sherman.
