LG Uplus Corp. has set the goal of maintaining the growth of legacy businesses while swiftly executing three key strategies –customer experience (CX), digital transformation (DX), and platform.

Hwang Hyeon-sik, chief executive officer of LG Uplus, shared the company’s aspirations in 2024 during an executive workshop for the first quarter held last week, LG Uplus said on Sunday.

The workshop brought together over 200 executives from both LG Uplus and LG HelloVision and focused on three major strategies.

Addressing the challenges posed by the current global economic outlook and the downsizing trends observed across various industries, Hwang stressed the need for LG Uplus to rapidly strengthen its digital transformation capabilities to create growth momentum.

Hwang urged the company not to abandon strategic investments and business development for the future.

His remarks suggest LG Uplus should intensify its efforts in emerging areas such as artificial intelligence and platforms while telecommunications market experiences stagnation.

During the workshop, discussions also revolved around the necessity for improvements in organizational culture. Hwang encouraged the fostering of a more communicative environment among team members to create a year focused on enhancing the collective ability to concentrate on achieving results.
