Monsta X's I.M will release a digital single on Jan. 23, according to his agency Sony Music Korea on Friday.
I.M uploaded two posters on his social media account, hinting the new single will be winter-themed. His new release comes seven months after his EP "Overdrive" in June 2023.
I.M debuted as a member of boy band Monsta X under Starship Entertainment with its first EP "Trespass" in May 2015. The band is known for songs "Gambler" (2021), "Rush Hour" (2021), "Dramarama" (2017), "Love Killa" (2020) and "Shoot Out" (2018).
I.M decided not to renew his contract with Starship Entertainment in August 2022 but is still active as part of Monsta X.
He signed an exclusive contract with Sony Music Korea in November 2022 for his solo activities.
His first official solo release was EP "Duality" in February 2021, with lead track "God Damn."
