On Wednesday, when Democratic Party (DP) leader Lee Jae-myung was discharged from his eight-day hospitalization for his neck injury after a terrorist attack, three DP lawmakers — Reps. Lee Won-wook, Kim Jong-min and Cho Eung-cheon — left the majority party criticizing Lee’s tyrannical management of the party. However, Rep. Yoon Young-chan reversed his decision to join the three lawmakers after Hyun Geun-taek — Yoon’s rival in the nomination race ahead of the April 10 parliamentary election — appears to lose his party membership after having made insensitive remarks about sexual harassment.
