Merck to host CES 2024 panels on AI, chips

Merck, a German chemical and technology giant, will hold a variety of discussion sessions on Wednesday at CES 2024 related to major topics such as AI, chips and female entrepreneurship.
All of the events will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Laura Matz, chief science and technology officer of Merck, will join other industry leaders at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) sponsored panel discussion titled “The Hard Part of AI: Hardware and Chips” to speak about how generative AI merges into the mainstream market.
Katherine Dei Cas, executive vice president and global head of delivery systems and services, will join other policymakers and business leaders to propose strategies to empower women in technology and promote gender representation in the market at the panel discussion titled “Empowering Women’s Entrepreneurship.”
Merck is also hosting meet and greets with startups, bringing together leaders and entrepreneurs to forge connections and showcase new technologies at its booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
