(G)I-DLE will drop its second full-length album “2” on Jan. 29, the girl group's agency Cube Entertainment said Monday.
“2” will be the group’s first music in three months following its U.S. debut EP "Heat" on Oct. 5.
The album will also be the group's first full-length album in almost two years since its first full-length album, “I Never Die,” released on March 14, 2022.
While other information about the album has not been disclosed, a logo motion clip and teaser poster were released on Monday, showing the album’s title “2” and release date.
(G)I-DLE debuted in May 2018 with the EP “I AM” under Cube Entertainment. The band consists of five members: Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua. The band released hit songs such as “Latata” (2018), “Tomboy” (2022), “Nxde” (2022) and “Queencard” (2023).
The group recently won Digital Song of the Year with “Queencard” at the 38th Golden Disc Awards held at the Jakarta International Stadium on Saturday.
