According to Samsung Electronics on Saturday, local time, Han Jong-hee, vice chairman, chief executive officer and head of the company’s Device eXperience (DX) division, will share Samsung Electronics’ AI strategy and introduce the theme of “AI for All: Connectivity in the Age of AI” on Monday, a day before the CES 2024 opening.
Samsung Electronics will introduce a number of products loaded with its on-device generation AI, Samsung Gauss. They include Bespoke Jet Bot Combo, a hybrid robot vacuum mop that uses AI to spot stains and recognize what objects to avoid, and Bespoke Jet AI.
Samsung Electronics will also advertise its latest Galaxy S24 series on the Sphere on Monday, the landmark ball-shaped venue in Las Vegas. The latest smartphones are the first Galaxy series to feature on-device generative AI, called Galaxy AI.
The Sphere is a music and entertainment arena in Las Vegas that opened in September 2023. The venue is 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide and is the world’s largest spherical structure.
LG Electronics is also scheduled to unveil its vision at CES 2024.
LG Electronics Chief Executive Cho Joo-wan will present a range of innovations and cutting-edge technologies spanning home appliances, robotics, and mobility.
Display manufacturers under Samsung Group and LG Group will also showcase cutting-edge products featuring the latest technology.
Samsung Display Co. is set to unveil the world’s first next-generation flip-type foldable products capable of folding both inside and out. While the previous products fold only inward, which requires an extra display outside, the new in-and-out flip requires only a single display with a lighter and thinner design.
This innovation is expected to make devices such as Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series remarkably thinner.
The display maker will exhibit other groundbreaking flexible displays, such as the Rollable Flex with panels that can unroll on an O-shaped axis like a scroll.
LG Display Co. will make its booth as an exhibition of its new organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panels, the latest displays with better picture quality compared to previous models through the advanced Meta Technology.
