Seola of girl group WJSN will release her first single "Inside Out" on Jan. 23 as the first member to launch a solo career since joining the group, her agency Starship Entertainment said Thursday.
“Inside Out” will be Seola’s first solo release in eight years since her debut with WJSN in 2016.
Preorders for the upcoming single will begin Friday.
Seola debuted as a member of girl group WJSN under Starship Entertainment. The singer is not only the main vocalist of the group, but was also credited as a songwriter and composer in WJSN’s track “New ME” from its ninth EP, “Unnatural” (2021), and “Our Garden” in its eighth EP, “Neverland” (2020).
She was also a member of WJSN’s second subunit WJSN The Black, along with members Bona, Exy and Eunseo. The group released its debut single “My Attitude” in May 2021.
Seola is currently hosting KBS Cool FM’s “StationZ,” which has been airing every Tuesday since April 2023.
