Girls' Generation's Yoona has renewed her contract with SM Entertainment, the agency said Thursday.
This is Yoona's third renewal with SM, who has represented the artist for the past 17 years.
“We have decided to renew the exclusive contract based on the deep trust we have with Lim Yoon-a,” SM Entertainment said.
“We will relentlessly support Lim Yoon-a, who has been [a TV personality, movie star and a singer] and aid her to be an artist who can keep on shining and influence the whole world.”
Yoona debuted as a member of the girl group Girls' Generation in 2007. She started her acting career the same year and is known for playing lead roles in the TV series “You Are My Destiny” (2008-09) and “King the Land” (2023), as well as in the film “Exit” (2019).
