The World K-pop Center will continue its global audition project in Vietnam, the K-pop institute said Thursday.
“Click The Star” is a K-pop girl group audition project held in 32 countries worldwide, hosted by the World K-pop Center, a K-pop education and concert organization institute established in 2020 to globalize and spread the K-pop training system. The selected applicants will get the chance to be a member of the girl group BlingOne, which the center is planning to debut.
Applications for the Vietnamese leg of the audition began Thursday and will close on March 31.
The center’s Vietnamese season will partner with Vietnamese film production Jack Film and Vietnamese media company BHD.
The Vietnamese season will take place for eight months with a preliminary stage and a final, selecting members to be sent to Korea to participate in the debut survival program to become members of the girl group BlingOne.
World K-pop Center also plans to hold K-pop events in Vietnam to promote the Vietnamese audition, the center said.
“We aim to solve and establish a K-pop education system in Vietnam through this audition,” the World K-pop Center said in a news release.
Further details about the audition will be available on the center’s K-pop platform K-pop Click.
