The main cast and director of the film “Argylle” are set to visit Korea on Jan. 18 and Jan. 19.
Cast members Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell and “Kingsman” director Matthew Vaughn will visit Korean fans to promote their upcoming film, according to Universal Pictures Korea.
The Korean visit was scheduled at director Vaughn's request, according to news reports.
It will be the first visit to Korea for the director and all of the actors apart from Cavill, who came to Korea in 2018 to promote “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” (2018).
The director and cast members plan to meet with the fans and audience in Korea and participate in various events to promote the film ahead of its Feb. 7 release.
Cast member Howard teased the visit through a promotional puzzle-mission video on Wednesday.
“Argylle” centers around the journey of spy novelist Elly Conway, played by Howard, whose novel begins to mirror a secretive real-life spy organization, making her a target to other spies. The novelist writes down the next chapter of her novel in order to escape from danger and goes on a journey to meet a real-life version of Agent Argylle.
