Boy band DXMON is gearing up for its official launch with its pre-debut single "Burn Up."
"Burn Up" is a hip-hop trap track released on Monday with an 808 bass sound and the lyrics embodying the members' confidence.
"'Burn Up' shows the band's identity and its future direction," its agency SSQ Entertainment, formerly NV Entertainment, said in a press release.
The six-member band is set to release its debut album on Jan. 17.
Further details about the album are yet to be disclosed.
The name DXMON reflects the band's ambition to determine and achieve its destiny and is derived from the Greek word "Daimon," which means god, the agency said.
The new boy band has six members: Minjae, Seita, Hee, TK, Rex and Jo.
SSQ Entertainment is also home to the girl group woo!ah!.
