The single will drop on Jan. 26 with two tracks, a title track and a B-side track, "XO Call Me."
The title track, "Girls of the Year," embodies the group's ambition to rise to fame this year, the agency said.
Renowned musicians and producers, such as Marcus Andersson, who worked with Le Sserafim; Lauren Aquilina, who worked with pop star Demi Lovato; and Chloe Latimer, who worked with several K-pop stars, including Twice, participated in the making of the group's new music.
A part of "Girls of the Year" was also teased on Tuesday on the group's social media accounts.
VCHA, pronounced bichwo, is the result of a joint project between JYP Entertainment and U.S. music giant Republic Records and consists of the six finalists of "A2K," or "America2Korea," a girl group audition program run by the two agencies from July to September.
The group members are Lexi, Camila, Savanna, Kendall, KG and Kaylee, who are all from the United States. The name VCHA is derived from a Korean word that translates to "shine a light."
JYP Entertainment's founder and chief producer, Park Jin-young, came up with the name.
The group has released two singles, "Sevit (NEW LIGHT)" in September and "Ready for the World" in December, before its official debut.
