Blackpink’s Jisoo may start the second chapter of her career with her brother, Xsportsnews reported Tuesday.
Jisoo is expected to partner with her brother, Kim Jeung-hoon, who is the CEO of the infant health food company Biomom, for her solo activities, according to the report.
Biomom recently posted multiple open positions for production and design staff as well as managers and bodyguards. One job posting, which was closed as of Tuesday, showed a photo of Jisoo with the title “We’re Hiring” under the name Blissoo.
Blissoo, while not officially announced, is expected to be related to Jisoo.
"[Blissoo is] a collaboration between artist and startup that cannot be easily experienced elsewhere," the job post's introduction reads.
"[We are] expanding rapidly in Korea and overseas in the entertainment industry, to help the artist grow further and have the artist loved by even more K-pop fans. We are looking for staff who will revolutionize the K-pop industry in and outside Korea with us."
YG Entertainment's contract with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa of Blackpink expired in 2023. The four members elected to continue their group activities with the agency but did not re-sign for their solo pursuits.
Jennie announced on Dec. 24 that she would begin her solo activities through her self-established label, OA (Odd Atelier).
