Samsung and LG Electronics are offering up to $5,000 in discounts to buyers of their electronics appliances as part of their New Year promotions.
The two electronics giants will run their promotions through the end of January in online and offline stores nationwide.
LG Electronics said Sunday that it is offering up to 6.9 million won ($5,330) in discounts depending on the number of products purchased.
The discount — redeemable in cash or gift cards — is offered to people who buy at least two different items from a list of 23 products.
The items include refrigerators, washing and drying machines, stylers and air purifiers.
The company is also offering special discounts on 44 models of 14 different items to buyers who purchase them through LG’s online store.
Samsung Electronics said Tuesday it will offer up to 6.8 million won in discounts — redeemable in cash or membership points — to customers who purchase multiple electronics appliances as part of its “2024 Samsung Electronics Sale Festa.”
The discounts are for 133 product models, including televisions, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, air purifiers and air conditioners, and mobile devices like the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy Watch.
