Jung Dae-hyun, a member of the now-disbanded boy band B.A.P, signed an exclusive contract with MA Entertainment to join his former bandmate Moon Jong-up, MA Entertainment said Friday.
"It's an honor to work alongside Jung, who carried on his career as an all-rounder," MA Entertainment said Friday in a press release.
"We will strongly support Jung to become a better artist as he has enormous potential and passion for music," the agency added.
"I'll do my best to showcase a better side of me after a long hiatus since I completed my mandatory military service," Jung said in the press release. "I'm happy that I can work at the same agency as Moon's, and please look forward to my activities with MA Entertainment."
Moon joined MA Entertainment in May and released his second EP "Some" on Oct. 30 with the agency.
Jung debuted as a member of boy band B.A.P in 2012. The band was known for songs like "Warrior" (2012) and" 1004(Angel)" (2014), but disbanded in 2019. He released his first solo music, "Shadow," in 2017. Jung has also been active as an actor since 2017.
