All four members of Blackpink decided not to sign with YG Entertainment for their solo activities, the agency said Friday.

The four will be working with the label only for their group activities as Blackpink, the agency said in a statement, adding it will fully support each member's solo career.

On Dec. 6, all four members — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa — renewed their contract with the agency for activities as Blackpink.

Jennie was the first to reveal she will not be signing with YG for solo activities, announcing on Sunday she will continue her solo activities under her own label OA, which stands for Odd Atelier.

OA is said to be an entertainment company that Jennie has founded with her mother in November. The other three members have not yet announced their next steps as solo artists.

Blackpink debuted on Aug. 8, 2016, as YG Entertainment's second girl group, after 2NE1. It shot to the top of the charts with its meteoric debut track "Whistle" (2016) and has been sitting on the throne as the queen of K-pop ever since.
