(231228) -- YANTAI, Dec. 28, 2023 (Xinhua) -- This photo taken on Dec. 27, 2023 shows a car being automatically transported into a stereo garage at Yantai Port in Yantai, east China's Shandong Province. A smart stereo garage for commercial vehicles was constructed and put into use recently at Yantai Port in east China's Shandong Province. It is the first of its kind that has been built at a port in China.

Covering an area of 13,000 square meters, the stereo garage is capable of accommodating more than 3,000 commercial vehicles, a capacity increased by more than 3 times compared with plane storage. Equipped with intelligent system and photovoltaic facility, it can complete intelligent arrangement, scheduling and transferring with self-sufficiency in electricity and zero carbon emission.
