NCT 127 topped daily album charts with its winter special single “Be There For Me” as of Thursday, its agency, SM Entertainment, said the same day.
The physical copy of the single, released on Dec. 26, sat at No. 1 on the Hanteo Chart, Yes 24 and Hottracks.
The single consists of three tracks including the lead and title track “Be There For Me,” plus B-side tracks “Home Alone” and “White Lie.”
A video of the band performing “Be There For Me” will be posted to the K-pop YouTube channel it's Live at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The band will also upload two special stage performance videos of “Be There For Me” to its own YouTube channel at midnight on Thursday.
NCT 127 debuted in July 2016 with its first EP, “NCT #127,” as a subunit of SM Entertainment’s boy band NCT. The group released several albums this year, including its repackaged album, “Ay-Yo,” on Jan. 30 and its fifth full-length album, “Fact Check,” on Oct. 6.
The band is scheduled to perform on MBC's year-end music program, “2023 Gayo Daejejeon,” on New Year’s Eve.
