Blackpink member Jennie announced Sunday that she’ll begin her individual activities next year through her own label she’s established, OA (Odd Atelier).
Jennie posted on her official Instagram page that she’s “excited about what’s to come – as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I’ve established.” OA is said to be an entertainment company that Jennie has founded with her mother in November.
The announcement comes just a couple of weeks after the girl group renewed its exclusive contract with YG Entertainment. On Dec. 6, all four members of Blackpink - Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa – said they are to continue their group activities with YG, where they all debuted as Blackpink in 2016.
Jennie is the first member to make the announcement about her individual journey.
