Boy band TIOT's Kum Jun-hyeon will drop his first solo digital single on Jan. 9, his agency Redstart ENM said Friday.
Kum's single will be showcased first during TIOT's solo fan concert "Find the way" on Dec. 30, before its official release.
More information about the single will be released in the coming days.
TIOT is a four-member boy band whose members were contestants from cable network Mnet's audition show "Boys Planet." The members are Kim Min-seoung, Kum Jun-hyeon, Hong Keon-hee and Choi Woo-jin. The four weren't part of the audition's nine finalists but gained popularity throughout the show.
Kum finished the show in the 14th spot out of its 93 contestants.
The band started its pre-debut activities on Aug. 23 with the album "Frame the Blueprint: Prelude to Possibilities." The band recently released a winter-themed song, "Find the Way," on Dec. 14.
