Lotte Duty Free on Thursday announced plans to target the MZ generation, or millennials and Gen Zers, with a variety of pop-up stores as the year draws to a close.

As a first step, the duty-free giant will host diverse pop-up events at its inaugural duty-free showroom, LDF House that will run until January 31, 2024.

The first floor of LDF House features the popular ‘Zanmang Loopy’ showroom, catering to both local and international customers, while the second floor hosts a collaboration with the ‘Oppanchu’ character and as well as limited-edition products from a partnership with Mediheal.

At Jeju Airport’s duty-free outlet, visitors can experience a pop-up featuring 10 K-beauty brands, including Whoo, Innisfree, and Cell Fusion C, which will run until January 14. The pop-up also includes personalized color diagnosis services.

Additionally, Lotte Duty Free recently revamped the customer lounge at its flagship Myeongdong store on December 15, 2023. The lounge now boasts a ‘Bellygom’ photo zone, enhancing experiential elements, and expanded the customer relaxation space. The duty-free brand’s downtown stores are adorned with a ‘HoHoHo CHRISTMAS’ concept, creating a festive ambiance for the year-end celebrations. Meanwhile, the Myeongdong store has decked its 12th-floor location with snowmen decorations, while the World Tower branch highlights snowmen sculptures.
