Belgian Crown Princess Elisabeth visits Children Hospital

epa11038426 Princess Elisabeth of Belgium participates in a game with young patients during a visit to the Princess Elisabeth Children's Hospital in Ghent, which she inaugurated in September 2011 in Gent, Belgium, 20 December 2023. This hospital treats children up to 15 years old or up to 18 years old in case of a chronic condition and gives their parents the opportunity to spend the night with them. In addition to medical care, it also offers facilities and services adapted to younger patients, such as a play area, the hospital school and recreation afternoons.
