BTS may be on a break, but its music certainly isn't.
BTS's past tracks are going strong on global music charts, showing the band's worldwide popularity.
"Spring Day," released in 2017, is sitting at No. 5 on Billboard's Digital Song Sales, followed by its 2018 track "Outro : Tear" (2018) at No. 22 as of the week of Dec. 23, its agency BigHit Music said Wednesday.
"Spring Day" topped the iTunes Top Songs chart last week in 83 countries, including the United States, Japan, France and Britain, after the last members to enlist — Jimin and Jungkook — started their service on Dec. 12.
Four of the band's songs also charted on Billboard World Digital Song Sales this week, with "Spring Day" topping the chart. Other tracks were "Outro : Tear" at No. 2, "No More Dream" (2013) at No. 6 and "Louder than bombs" (2020) at No. 8.
The band's music video for its track "Yet To Come" also reached over 200 million views as of Tuesday, becoming the band's 26th music video to have reached over 200 million views.
The members' solo tracks are also scoring well on Billboard charts this week.
Jungkook's first full-length solo album "Golden," released on Nov. 3, sat at No. 41 on Billboard 200, and its lead track, "Standing Next to You," sat at No. 99 on Billboard Hot 100, putting his name on both charts six weeks in a row.
"Like Crazy," the lead track of Jimin's solo album "FACE," sat at No. 94 on Billboard Global Excl. US and at No. 175 on Billboard Global 200.
V's solo album "Layover" sat at No. 43 on Billboard Top Current Album Sales, along with its track "Love Me Again" sitting at No. 179 on Billboard Global Excl. US.
